Beginning in October 2022, the new agreement
Morrisons will be the highest paying UK supermarket for retail employees by paying its manufacturing and store employees a minimum of £10.20 an hour**, a minimum 2 percent increase over their base wage.
The minimum rate of pay for store associates within the M25 will now be £11.05** since Morrisons will pay a London location extra of £0.85 per hour to all stores within the M25 rather than just Inner London.
The new agreement, which is scheduled to begin in October 2022***, would result in a pay raise of more than 40% for Morrisons store Customer Assistants from their current hourly wage of £6.83** to £10.20**.
